Caraganas will be removed along the golf course road

The Kenmare Country Club will work with the Des Lacs National Wildlife Refuge, Kenmare Township and Northern Plains Railroad to remove a row of trees and improve conditions along the Country Club Road.

Berthold and Carpio teens among thousands to attend ELCA Gathering in New Orleans

“This trip was never intended to be a vacation,” Pastor Christoph Schmidt, who serves Zion Lutheran Church in Berthold and Carpio Lutheran Church in Carpio, said about traveling 30 hours one way in a bus with 35 youth and six other adults to attend the ELCA’s Gathering for teens in New Orleans, held July 18-22.
