Every grade at Berthold Public School welcomed new students to the classroom as the year started, except for the Junior Class. Opening day enrollment was up significantly at 279 students in grades kindergarten through 12, compared to 260 filling the desks on the first day of classes last year. Twenty-nine students are new Bombers, along with the 20 members of the kindergarten class.

Some of the KHS math classes will follow a standards-based curriculum this semester with homework and tests like usual. The students who excel in those classes and need to be challenged will be presented with enrichment materials, while students who struggle to master math concepts and skills will be supported with additional lessons.
