City Utilities

Monthly water, sewer, and garbage are payable to the City of Kenmare.

BASIC MONTHLY UTILITIES 
(Water-Sewer-Garbage)

• Water: $31.00 (1,500 gal)
• Sewer: $22.50
• Garbage: $22.00  - Residential
• Garbage: $35.00 & up - Commercial
• Water main fee: $2.00
• Landfill main fee: $2.00

Minimum Residential Rate - $79.50
Minimum Commercial Rate - $92.50

To set up utilities, for renting or purchasing a property in Kenmare you will need to contact City Hall to provide information regarding where your utility bill will be sent to, and other basic information that can be filled out on the Utility Transfer Form. The form can be dropped off at City Hall.  There is a deposit required for renting which is refundable when moving out. The $165.00 renters deposit is applied to your account balance when moving out of the property, if there is no balance the deposit is returned to you. 

UTILITY PAYMENT METHODS

The City of Kenmare accepts Visa, MasterCard, Check, Cash, and ACH payments. Any correspondence for the city can be dropped off in the box on the east side of the hall, be dropped off in the Auditors Office, called in over the phone, pulled from your bank account, or paid online with your credit or debit card by using nCourt.

To sign up for ACH (Auto Pay), please click on the link below and fill out the information. A voided check is required with the application. Payments are pulled on the last business day of each month. If you have any questions about ACH, please contact City Hall.
