Upward enrollment trend continues in Kenmare

Kenmare’s cookie-cutter enrollment trend appears to be increasing again as 2014 approaches.

New students at Kenmare School... Enrollment has increased at  the Kenmare schools during each of the past four years. Seven new students enrolled last week, while four moved out. Another five new students will be enrolling after the Christmas break.

Kenmare’s cookie-cutter enrollment trend appears to be increasing again as 2014 approaches.

Seven new students enrolled in the district last week bringing the total K-12 enrollment to 305, up five students since the beginning of the school year.

About the same time last week, a family of four moved out of the district, thus a present net gain of three.

This is the fourth consecutive year enrollment has increased in Kenmare and it’s the first time since 2002 the school district has topped 300 students.
