The Kenmare School Board met September 17th, but held no discussion about a proposed building project for the district other than to make plans for a special meeting about the issue.
Board president Jan Kostad asked other board members to consider being present during the school’s parent-teacher conference night, scheduled for September 19th, in order to answer questions about the building options now under consideration.
He announced John Huenink of Kraus-Anderson Construction in Minot intended to facilitate presentations during the conference night and that surveys and displays related to the project options would be available.
“Their presentation times are scheduled for 4:30, 5:30 and 7 pm,” Kostad said. “We’re going to encourage patrons there for conferences that night to attend. If you’re there, you can help with any questions they may have about the project.”
The Kenmare School Board had not yet selected one of the four options to endorse. A special meeting was planned for September 24th at 7:30 am, devoted to that topic and decision.
