With the annual Pioneer Day this Sunday, Michael Crowder will see over a year's work coming to fruition.

With the annual Pioneer Day this Sunday, Michael Crowder will see over a year’s work coming to fruition with a “walking” tour of the Pioneer Village finished and available to experience on a website. 

“I wanted to make a way for people to experience the Pioneer Village from anywhere,” explained Crowder. “There is a video for each building which gives an overview of what is in there.”

Crowder, a sophomore at Concordia College of Moorhead, MN, was approached by Lake County Historical Society president Bryan Quigley to create a unique website highlighting the many artifacts housed in the various buildings of the village.

The website is accessed by going to the website: kenmarepioneervillage.com

Crowder and Quigley have also created the ability to make donations on the website along with contact information.
