Berthold will gain 50 to 60 homes in Phase I
Action by Berthold’s Planning & Zoning Committee on Friday and the city council in special session on Monday paved the way for Five Stone Development to break ground on Phase I of a development proposed for land east of Berthold.

Sunday storm causes damage to the north
A supercell thunderstorm that developed in north central Burke County Sunday evening traveled east into northern Renville County, where high winds and possible funnel clouds damaged trees, crops and buildings.

Group making great strides toward smoking ban measure
