Kenmare wins 8th consecutive District volleyball championship

“At the beginning of this year, we were ranked sixth [in the district],” KHS head coach Tim Wallstrum said. “We’re just so small. But to be able to come out and win the district championship is a lot of fun!”

New county half-cent sales tax would raise $39.3 million

One of the biggest decisions for Ward County voters next Tuesday comes near the end of the ballot--the yes-or-no vote to approve an additional half-cent sales tax to be collected throughout the county, including retail businesses in Kenmare, Berthold, Donnybrook and Carpio.

GooseFest pie factory has operated once a year for 23 years
