School to buy two new mini-buses

The Kenmare school district will use additional transportation funds received this year to purchase two new mini-buses with gasoline engines, following action taken by board members at the February 12th meeting.

Four KHS wrestlers making trip to State Tournament this week

Four Kenmare wrestlers, Ty Jesz, Tanner Egeberg, Xavier Maureaux, and Alex Giese, will see action in the 2013 Class B state wrestling tournament this weekend in Fargo, after qualifying at the Region 3 individual tournament held Saturday at Stanley.

Firemen called to school on winter's coldest day

A fire at Kenmare High School Thursday morning caused students and staff to evacuate the building on the coldest morning of the winter so far, with temperatures hovering at the -20F mark and wind gusting over 30 mph.
