Rail transport of oil enhances pipelines
Trains rumbling east and west out of Berthold have carried agricultural commodities for decades. Oil cars use the tracks now, too, hundreds of them each week since the Berthold Station Rail Loading Facility of Enbridge Pipelines came into service last March.

Kenmare airport to complete upgrades with $1.1 million grant

Kenmare trucker is also bounce house maker
Children ran toward the bright primary colors of the “Crayon” bounce house set up in the southeast corner of Kenmare’s downtown park on the evening of July 16th. Many ignored the free burgers and hot dogs grilled by members of the Kenmare Association of Commerce, choosing instead to kick off their shoes and dive through the door of the inflatable attraction, where they could jump and shout to their hearts’ content.

The Renville County Mallards baseball team is the 2013 Gateway Sectional Babe Ruth champion. The team consists of a mix of Kenmare and Mohall players.
