One of Kenmare's oldest businesses, Farmers Union Oil Company, celebrated its diamond jubilee last night during its annual member meeting. "It's here for the long haul," said Greg Westlake, general manager since 2000. "We can do everything for the customer. We can sell them machinery, fill their tanks, sell them their batteries, and handle their agronomy needs."

The Lewis & Clark-Berthold boys varsity basketball team closed their season on Saturday with a 22-5 record and an eighth place finish at the State Class B Boys basketball tournament in Minot, after losses to Dakota Prairie, Bowman County and North Star. The Bombers entered the tournament with a 46.9 percent field goal average, but they ran into strong defensive strategies that limited their usual success at the basket.
